Video showing apparent chokehold on black man leads to New York cop's suspension

NEW YORK (NYTIMES) - The New York Police Department on Sunday (June 21) suspended a police officer involved in the arrest of a black man in Queens after cellphone video of the encounter earlier in the day showed the officer appearing to use an illegal chokehold.
