US funds that would have gone to WHO could be given to aid groups: Trump officials

WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - The United States could redirect to other aid groups some US$400 million (S$570 million) it would have paid the World Health Organisation (WHO) this year, senior Trump administration officials said on Wednesday (April 15) after President Donald Trump halted funding for the UN agency over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
