Italy shuts schools as global coronavirus battle intensifies

ROME (AFP) - Europe's coronavirus hotspot Italy shut all schools and universities on Wednesday (March 4) in a bid to stop the deadly disease from spreading, as governments bolstered supplies and intensified protective measures.
