Fed has a role in combating climate change risk, says Fed Chair Jerome Powell

SAN FRANCISCO (REUTERS) - While the overall US response to climate change is up to elected officials, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said on Wednesday (Jan 29), the Fed can play a part in keeping global warming from destabilising US banks and financial markets.
