WASHINGTON (WASHINGTON POST) - Using movies of traffic in Berlin, Istanbul, and Moscow and big-data techniques seeking to mimic the brain, a digital mapping firm has been pushing researchers to learn how to forecast traffic sort of like we forecast the weather, with potential implications for drivers from the Washington region to Wisconsin and Warsaw.
