'Horror and shame': US senators, Kurdish leader call for Turkey sanctions

WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - US lawmakers kept up their push on Monday (Oct 21) to impose sanctions on Turkey if it does not end its offensive in north-eastern Syria, and a leading Kurdish politician called on US President Donald Trump to stop the "ethnic cleansing" of her people.
