Taiwan president Tsai Ing-wen says US responding positively to request for tanks, fighter jets

WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen said on Wednesday (March 27) the United States was responding positively to Taipei's requests for new arms sales to bolster its defences in the face of growing pressure from China.
