US approves seismic tests despite dolphin, whale concerns

TAMPA (AFP) - The US government on Friday (Nov 30) took a big step towards opening oil and gas drilling in the Atlantic ocean by approving seismic airgun tests that experts warn are harmful to dolphins and whales.
